Dancing Beauty

Levinkha's Posting:

Dancing session today. I almost went to bed when they started the dancing session...thank god i didn't miss the session. It was pretty cool and I guess all of us lost some unwanted fat..not too sure whether I have any unwanted fat because I'm already underweight. Anyway this session was really helpful for Mommy as she's into this 'DIET FAIR' thing. Diet Fair is the latest Fair going on in my family. Everyone trying to loose weight except me. Even Ashviqha Akka has reduced her meat intake. She says meat contains high cholesterol. Mommy somehow managed to reduce 3kg and she's back with her 'Levi's Jeans', she almost gave all her jeans to others but somehow these jeans had motivated her. Congrats Mommy.

Warming up for the session

This is what happens when I get too excited!

Mommy said she looks like Aiswarya Rai dancing for one of the song in "Taal" but of course minus the milk bottle...LOL:)

Great dancer..any taker?

Class Photo

Ashviqha's Posting:

P-H-O-T-O again. This time it's my class photograph. It's a norm to get the Class photograph done by end of October. There'll be one in school uniform and one in fancy Concert costume. I like the one in fancy dress, the one makes you look like a model...ooohhhhh:) Well our annual Concert is just around the corner and I'll share more of the photos (that's if Mommy doesn't forget her camera!)

Don't you think I've got the 'model' look? Malaysia's Next Top Model?

S5 Class with their concert costume...very colorful! Mommy says it's the 'Bhangra Gang'.

Diwali

Ashviqha's Posting:

This Diwali - This is one of the often used phrase of late. Everyone seems to be using it, so I thought why not join the club. I was happy to learn that we’d have a long 4 days weekend “This Diwali”. All kinds of plans were given a thought. Basically this year’s Diwali wasn’t as great as last year’s. This is because our dear PaPa is not around and we didn’t go back to Ipoh.
Mommy got me some skirts and blouses and I was pretty happy with that. The morning on Diwali day all of us went to temple and later headed to Kelana Jaya to Siva Periappa’s house for breakfast. We had some quality time there and later all of us including Thata and Athaa went to Ganesan Mama’s house. We came back home the same day as Mommy was lazy at packing our things! I was reluctant to go back home but since Levinkha was going back home, so I came back as well.

Thata and Athaa went back to Ipoh today, so Mommy and I decided to go for High School Musical 3 in Summit USJ. The movie wasn’t like what I expected but since I’ve got nothing better to do…i would consider it as ‘entertaining’.

Diwali photo’s will be loaded soon….

First Flight Experience

Ashviqha's Posting:

We had a wonderful holiday in Langkawi last year (from 1st- 4th May 2007)…in fact this was my first trip on a flight.. Pretty cool experience. The three of us officially (PaPa, Mommy & Me) and unofficially Levinkha (because she was still in Mommy’s tummy) went for holiday. I still remember, Mommy was so sick and doctor diagnosed it as mild pneumonia. I was praying hard so that we could still go ahead with the trip. Somehow she managed to recuperate and all of us went.

I was just too excited to experience my first flight. I heard all kinds of rattling noise. I could see the left and right wing and PaPa explained how the wings work. When the plane picked up speed, whole of my stomach was at my throat. But later it was normal and I couldn't feel anything. In fact the whole journey was very pleasant. Brilliant ideas were put together by Wright brothers to reach our destination conveniently..amazing!

We had a good time in Langkawi as this was my first trip there. I would consider the cable car and duty free shopping as the best attractions. I had the chance to try all sorts of fancy chocolates that I've never eaten in my life but Ferrero Rocher will be my all time favourite chocolate.
Some of my memorable shots that can never be missed...

God, I'm so afraid..will it be a safe journey?

That's the plane...

Best Friend

Ashviqha's Posting:

What is life without a best friend? Mommy says best friend is someone who can share your joy and sorrow. I've got quite a number of best friends, who can share my joy. They are Amelie, Tutie, Zekiah and Anisha. They are my life now. I feel I'm lost if they are absent from school..that's how we are hooked to each other. Amelie and Tutie are my classmates whereas Zekiah and Anisha are schoolmates. Well Zekiah and Anisha will be going to Primary 1 next year and I'm definitely going to miss them.

I was amazed with Mommy's answer on who's her best friend is...her answer was PaPa. She has many friends but PaPa is considered her best friend. That's pretty boring isn't it? Why would anyone consider their husband as their best friend? Probably I'm still young to understand the logic of it...

Mommy also told me that she misses her childhood best friend...Aunty Briggitte. Best friend? Yes, it seems they use to be in the same class during early secondary school. Mmm...i heard they are reunited through Facebook. Facebook must be amazing, it proves that nothing is impossible. She also found out that Aunty Briggitte's website is http://www.c9otb.blogspot.com/

You'll Never Walk Alone

Levinkha's Posting:

Walk on through the wind Walk on through the rain Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown Walk on, walk on With hope in your heart And you'll never walk alone ...

LIVERPOOL IS MY FAVOURITE TEAM.....Big relief for PaPa, at least there's another Liverpool supporter in the family.

I've got fantastic football skills now and I'm sure PaPa is extremely happy about it.

Here I go...with the Liverpool jersey

Live from KJMC

Levinkha's Posting:

It was a horrible day last Friday as I got admitted in the hospital. Mommy and Athaa got me admitted early in the morning (about 2am). Mommy said it was high fever because the temperature went up to 40 degree Celcius. When we went in, the MO immediately gave me a sponge bath to bring down the fever. Mommy must have been really sad to see me in that condition. The MO rang up the paediatrician Dr. Syed Nazir for an emergency visit. I must admit he's a great paediatrician because he was there in less than an hour. I stick with this paediatrician since I was born (even during Hari Raya...LOL:))

Next day the doctor diagnosed it as bacterial infection. He gave Mommy and PaPa some reading from the blood test which shows that it's a bacterial infection. PaPa said this is probably due to my 'pick and eat' habit. I'm sorry PaPa, it's a habit that comes in a package..;)
After 1 and 1/2 days being restless, I was feeling better and finally got discharged today. Thank god everything is over now and I'll be back on track! Thanks to my Panicky Mommy, doctors and nurses for their treatment. I remember Mommy was really upset with some of the nurses and gave a piece of her mind. That's Mommy..the perfectionist!

And I wonder who took this photo while I was suffering...

Fun at Waterfalls

Ashviqha's Posting:

A long break for Hari Raya, 6 days to be exact. I've got a long list of 'Things To do'. As usual Baskin Robins, Sunway Pyramid and playground are always given the top priorities. But this time 'waterfalls' was also in the list. I guess this is my 2nd trip to waterfalls. The first trip was back in 2005. I was still called a 'baby' then and as usual Mommy didn't let me in the water! But today I had fun because I'm no more a baby! All of us, (Nallasiwam Periappa, Siva Periappa, Suresh Mama, Vijay Mama)'s family and of course the Su Rames's family joined the fun at the Sg. Tekala Waterfalls. It offers a scenic and peaceful location for picnic and family relaxation.

There were too many monkeys and the Oldies time were spent guarding our belongings as opposed to having a good time with others. It was a great experience for me even though I had a tough time getting use to the chill water :))

Fun..fun that's all I can say!

Kovin Anna busy with his cooking adventure..We have spectators for that too!

Oldies..relaxing and guarding our belongings

PaPa and the gang with their simple game, wonder how these guys able to run around with their big belly!

High School Musical 3

Ashviqha's Posting:
Walt Disney had already released the poster of the upcoming feature film and last installment of the highest rated DIsney Original movie High School Musical (HSM). High School Musical 3: Senior Year tells the story of high school seniors Troy (Zac Efron) and Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) facing the possibilities of separation as they went to different universities. With the rest of the Wildcats, they produced an elaborate spring musical backtracking their experiences, hopes and fears about what's ahead of them all. With new repertoire of music and upbeat dance numbers, this motion picture extravaganza delivers plenty of high-energy entertainment and lessons of life thought by East High's talented ensemble. High School Musical 3 is set to be released this coming October 24.
I can't wait for it ! So far, I'd heard of its soundtrack.. I must say it's still fabulous as usual.
I hope Mommy will take me for the movie because she was saying HSM is for teenagers and not suitable for me. But my friends told me it's rated U-General. I'm sure Divya, Tuti and others going for the movie as well. I love the music and most importantly we can have fun reviewing about the movie in school :)

Ambition

Ashviqha's Posting:

Mommy and I went marketing yesterday morning. Not that i was keen going marketing but it's just that I was too bored at home because everyone was still sleeping. Whenever Mommy and I go out there'll be some interesting issues to be discussed; songs, movies, girls thingy such as dress, earrings etc..or even about ourselves and others (gossip). So this time it was about my ambition...

Mommy : Ash, what is your ambition?

Me : A-M-B-I-T-I-O-N???

Mommy: Ya, what do you want to be ...occupation? IT Consultant and Engineer is banned in this family so think out of the box.

Me: Mmm..I think I want to become a TEACHER. My role model is Teacher Geetha.

Mommy: Mmm...can you think beyond that?

Me: I know...DOCTOR . My role model is Dr. Fatima/Dr. Silvam. Can scan the baby in my tummy later...

Mommy: Why don't be a Paediatrician like Dr. Syed Nazir /Dr. Sanjay, can treat your children for free!!

Me: Ok, Ok can also...

Mommy: (laughing), are we negotiating on something here??? I thought you love to dance?

Me: Yes. Can I become a dance teacher?

Mommy: Yes you can, i'll enroll you in a dance academy, and see how you excel..

I was speechless!
.
.
And today Mommy told me to get prepared for my first lesson on the first week of October in Aurora Dance School in Subang Jaya http://www.auroradanceschool.com
I'll be attending the Classical Ballet (for the beginners) and later on to the Modern Dance!
Pretty cool isn't it?

..............thank god i went to the market yesterday :)

It's Party Time...

Ashviqha's Posting:

Last Saturday, we decided to hold a family gathering in my place. All my cousins were here and we had lots of fun. Games & dance were the main agenda. In fact Mommy decided to get me a birthday cake..belated celebration I guess. I wore a purle dress which Atha bought from India. Some said that I looked like Bollywood actress in that dress! I love that. I would love to be a Bollywood actress one day..that's my dream. People say I got Aiswarya Rai's 'eyes', some even call me Aishu...ooohoooo I'm almost there...

Party ended about 11pm and I was very sad that everyone was going back home. How I wish we can gather everyday, full of joy and happiness!

Check-up

Levinkha's Posting:

Today I went for my regular check-up with my paediatrician Dr. Syed Nazir MS Kadir. I was quite happy to go there because Akka and me can have fun in the mini playground. In fact I don't mind going there often as long as no jab given..LOL:)

I was the first patient..yahoooo went in with great surprises..new look. I think my paed has moved to a new room with fancy green cabinets, probably he should have added some pink cabinets too...

First they started off with my weight...doctor said that I'm underweight. He said I can take jelly or anything sweet...mmm most likely i'll be given ice cream. Isn't that sweet as well? Sorry Mommy I know I'm a picky eater but what can I do? "You still remember when I was in your tummy you used to feed me with all the fantastic food on earth but now you're only giving me porridge!!"

Oh god the next thing was JAB..i hate it! Pneumococcal? That's the worst I've ever had. Probably this will be the last one. They say it's easy to be a child, less burden but does anyone ever wondered the amount of pain we children go through especially when it comes to JAB?

He started off with the dino...or is it a croco?

Oouch..

I'm not pretending...

Special Day

Ashviqha's Posting:

Today is a special day for me..Yes it's my birthday today, 5th day. Time flies, I still remember the days when I started talking, walking and jumping...gosh I'm a big girl now!

Since today is a working day, so Mommy said that they'll celebrate my birthday this or next weekend. Anyway PaPa bought a me Special 'Yummy' Cake which I brought to school today morning. My friends sang Happy Birthday song as I cut the cake. Mmm..was really delicious.
I can't share any of those memorable moments because I forgot to bring my camera to school. By the way thanks for the cake, I love You PaPa.

916? Yes? No? Maybe...

Levinkha's Posting:

Wondering what 916 stands for? YES September 16, Ashviqha Akka's birthday. NO I don't think we are celebrating her birthday on 16th but most likely on the weekend..20 September. And PaPa said MAYBE there is a special gift for everyone. Everyone? Exactly that's what I was trying to ask and he says that it's too complicated for a toddler like me. Now this 916 looks very complicated indeed!! I wonder why PaPa and Mommy are so excited about 916...

This weekend..

Ashviqha's Posting:

Life is really boring without Mommy and PaPa around. Just can’t wait for them to come back home this weekend. I miss Mommy, miss her yelling and screaming for the past one week…she drives me crazy at times but I realize how I can’t live without it now! Gosh…am I confusing myself? She’s a lovely woman, caring and loving with no patience! Perfectionist I would say..things need to be perfect if not she gets annoyed very easily. Mmmm…well PaPa is a cool man, very patient and pretends to be the Hitler in the family. The other day I heard PaPa telling Mommy that he’ll be the Hitler, if not Levinkha and Me would be out of control. Well, now I understand why he makes me cry very often!

My blog posting and cartoons are the only way to keep me going as not much activities around except that I enjoy going to school, chat with friends, have fun…
Basically at school we are busy practising for the Annual Concert which will be held in month of November. Unfortunately PaPa will be missing the fun because he’ll be based in Russia then.

"I hate these Independance Days!"
