Ashviqha's Posting:

Madagascar: Esacape 2 Africa.
I've been eargerly waiting to watch Madagascar and finally manage to go for it despite Mommy's tight schedule. We had fun watching the movie in GSC Summit in the THX Hall, never realized how good the sound sytem before!

The character that I liked most is 'Gloria', the Hippo that attracted me!

Écouter

Ashviqha's Posting:

I'm sure you are wondering what is Écouter stands for. I'm so tense to even say the word! So I decided to use a French word to keep myself calm in this matter! Écouter = Exam. UPSR results are out today and I see tremendous pressure on the students...especially my cousins and their Mommies. Mommy says they are over acting on this matter!! It's just the matter of result, this result doesn't really determine what you will be in the future. She says I got to 'study smart' rather than 'study hard'!! I'm a bit confused with both the terms because at the moment I don't do both...LOL:) Congrats to all of them...

Improvement

Levinkha's Posting:

I'm improving my vocabulary by watching cartoons. Cartoons are my favourite past time activity. I can go on watching for hours...Mommy says it's good because she can have some peaceful time for herself.
"I love going on 45 degrees angle to watch my favourite cartoons"

Well I've picked up some new words these few weeks. FLOWER, CAT, AMMA, TOY, BOOK, AKKA and ANNA.

I'm also improving in terms of weight and height. Dr.Syed said I'm 9.5kg (additional of 0.5kg) and 78cm (additional of 2cm). Head circumference is still the same as the previous month...Oooppss looks like my brain is not expanding!!!

Driving License

Levinkha's Posting:

I just got my driving license today.. Finally I'm allowed to drive around with my little car. I guess life will be much easier to move around without depending on Mommy. Ashviqha Akka said she got her license long time ago...that was back in 2005. Looks like I started earlier than her. But we got to share the same car as PaPa is saving money to get his favourite car. It's Ok at least PaPa's car will be more spacious and it can carry more than 2 people unlike my car. I'm already having difficulty to be a passenger now because of Akka's size. Just look at the photos below, I got to squeeze myself to fit onto the seat :(

Akka trying to guide me...That's the yellow car that belongs to Akka. But Akka said I can use it whenever I feel like driving around.

Mommy says this car is very sporty..:) I guess the colour which gives that sporty look. Well, of course the person who bought it has got 'sporty heart'...the most gorgeous man I've ever met in this world!

I just thought this will give a sportier look..:)) But Mommy said it's a dangerous way of driving and it seems only Mat Rempits do that!!!

First Overseas Vacation

Ashviqha's Posting:

We (PaPa, Mommy & Me) escaped to Bali for a relaxing holiday last Feb 2008. Well, this was my first overseas trip! Amazing I would say (at least for the time being). I still remember the first day as we checked in to the hotel; I was a bit excited to see the swimming pool and this excitement got into trouble….I drowned, and thank god PaPa rescued me. Mommy was looking so nervous and we are suppose to keep it as a secret but recently I broke that secret, and everyone was laughing as if it was a joke :(

Mommy told me the next trip we can bring Levinkha because she’ll be a bit older and easier to handle. But when? She said I need to score 100% in my final exam to go for this trip but remain silent on the destination. I wonder where...

Kintamani Volcano is a beautiful place with magnificent panorama

Hard Rock 'Centerstage' the coolest live rock venue in Bali. I enjoyed this place.

Surfing?

Dinner + sunset watching at Jimbaran. Suitable place for couples. But there are some unlucky ones like PaPa and Mommy!

Pedicure...I like the tiny flowers!

Beach Menicure, less technology but high in quality:)

Dolls

Ashviqha's Posting:

I love collecting dolls...usual girls thingy! I've collected quite a number but I can't locate any of those. Recently Nallasiwam periappa bought 1 new set of dolls for me. It is similar to those Barbie dolls but of different name. I hardly get the time to play with these dolls but today somehow I managed to convince Mommy to play with me. We had the chance to play peacefully as Levinkha was sleeping then.
I've named the dolls Theresa, Lyana and Jenny. Mommy and I like Theresa because she's really sweet. Mommy looks rather excited playing with these dolls. She doesn't look her age while playing with these dolls!

Dancing Beauty

Levinkha's Posting:

Dancing session today. I almost went to bed when they started the dancing session...thank god i didn't miss the session. It was pretty cool and I guess all of us lost some unwanted fat..not too sure whether I have any unwanted fat because I'm already underweight. Anyway this session was really helpful for Mommy as she's into this 'DIET FAIR' thing. Diet Fair is the latest Fair going on in my family. Everyone trying to loose weight except me. Even Ashviqha Akka has reduced her meat intake. She says meat contains high cholesterol. Mommy somehow managed to reduce 3kg and she's back with her 'Levi's Jeans', she almost gave all her jeans to others but somehow these jeans had motivated her. Congrats Mommy.

Warming up for the session

This is what happens when I get too excited!

Mommy said she looks like Aiswarya Rai dancing for one of the song in "Taal" but of course minus the milk bottle...LOL:)

Great dancer..any taker?

Class Photo

Ashviqha's Posting:

P-H-O-T-O again. This time it's my class photograph. It's a norm to get the Class photograph done by end of October. There'll be one in school uniform and one in fancy Concert costume. I like the one in fancy dress, the one makes you look like a model...ooohhhhh:) Well our annual Concert is just around the corner and I'll share more of the photos (that's if Mommy doesn't forget her camera!)

Don't you think I've got the 'model' look? Malaysia's Next Top Model?

S5 Class with their concert costume...very colorful! Mommy says it's the 'Bhangra Gang'.

Diwali

Ashviqha's Posting:

This Diwali - This is one of the often used phrase of late. Everyone seems to be using it, so I thought why not join the club. I was happy to learn that we’d have a long 4 days weekend “This Diwali”. All kinds of plans were given a thought. Basically this year’s Diwali wasn’t as great as last year’s. This is because our dear PaPa is not around and we didn’t go back to Ipoh.
Mommy got me some skirts and blouses and I was pretty happy with that. The morning on Diwali day all of us went to temple and later headed to Kelana Jaya to Siva Periappa’s house for breakfast. We had some quality time there and later all of us including Thata and Athaa went to Ganesan Mama’s house. We came back home the same day as Mommy was lazy at packing our things! I was reluctant to go back home but since Levinkha was going back home, so I came back as well.

Thata and Athaa went back to Ipoh today, so Mommy and I decided to go for High School Musical 3 in Summit USJ. The movie wasn’t like what I expected but since I’ve got nothing better to do…i would consider it as ‘entertaining’.

Diwali photo’s will be loaded soon….

First Flight Experience

Ashviqha's Posting:

We had a wonderful holiday in Langkawi last year (from 1st- 4th May 2007)…in fact this was my first trip on a flight.. Pretty cool experience. The three of us officially (PaPa, Mommy & Me) and unofficially Levinkha (because she was still in Mommy’s tummy) went for holiday. I still remember, Mommy was so sick and doctor diagnosed it as mild pneumonia. I was praying hard so that we could still go ahead with the trip. Somehow she managed to recuperate and all of us went.

I was just too excited to experience my first flight. I heard all kinds of rattling noise. I could see the left and right wing and PaPa explained how the wings work. When the plane picked up speed, whole of my stomach was at my throat. But later it was normal and I couldn't feel anything. In fact the whole journey was very pleasant. Brilliant ideas were put together by Wright brothers to reach our destination conveniently..amazing!

We had a good time in Langkawi as this was my first trip there. I would consider the cable car and duty free shopping as the best attractions. I had the chance to try all sorts of fancy chocolates that I've never eaten in my life but Ferrero Rocher will be my all time favourite chocolate.
Some of my memorable shots that can never be missed...

God, I'm so afraid..will it be a safe journey?

That's the plane...

Best Friend

Ashviqha's Posting:

What is life without a best friend? Mommy says best friend is someone who can share your joy and sorrow. I've got quite a number of best friends, who can share my joy. They are Amelie, Tutie, Zekiah and Anisha. They are my life now. I feel I'm lost if they are absent from school..that's how we are hooked to each other. Amelie and Tutie are my classmates whereas Zekiah and Anisha are schoolmates. Well Zekiah and Anisha will be going to Primary 1 next year and I'm definitely going to miss them.

I was amazed with Mommy's answer on who's her best friend is...her answer was PaPa. She has many friends but PaPa is considered her best friend. That's pretty boring isn't it? Why would anyone consider their husband as their best friend? Probably I'm still young to understand the logic of it...

Mommy also told me that she misses her childhood best friend...Aunty Briggitte. Best friend? Yes, it seems they use to be in the same class during early secondary school. Mmm...i heard they are reunited through Facebook. Facebook must be amazing, it proves that nothing is impossible. She also found out that Aunty Briggitte's website is http://www.c9otb.blogspot.com/

Ashviqha's Posting:
It is all about not so professional photographer going all out for the candid shots. You get to see horrible sight of everything! Believe it or not, the outputs are quite amazing. Let me share some it here…

I thought it’ll be a smart candid, but unfortunately….

You'll Never Walk Alone

Levinkha's Posting:

Walk on through the wind Walk on through the rain Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown Walk on, walk on With hope in your heart And you'll never walk alone ...

LIVERPOOL IS MY FAVOURITE TEAM.....Big relief for PaPa, at least there's another Liverpool supporter in the family.

I've got fantastic football skills now and I'm sure PaPa is extremely happy about it.

Here I go...with the Liverpool jersey

Live from KJMC

Levinkha's Posting:

It was a horrible day last Friday as I got admitted in the hospital. Mommy and Athaa got me admitted early in the morning (about 2am). Mommy said it was high fever because the temperature went up to 40 degree Celcius. When we went in, the MO immediately gave me a sponge bath to bring down the fever. Mommy must have been really sad to see me in that condition. The MO rang up the paediatrician Dr. Syed Nazir for an emergency visit. I must admit he's a great paediatrician because he was there in less than an hour. I stick with this paediatrician since I was born (even during Hari Raya...LOL:))

Next day the doctor diagnosed it as bacterial infection. He gave Mommy and PaPa some reading from the blood test which shows that it's a bacterial infection. PaPa said this is probably due to my 'pick and eat' habit. I'm sorry PaPa, it's a habit that comes in a package..;)
After 1 and 1/2 days being restless, I was feeling better and finally got discharged today. Thank god everything is over now and I'll be back on track! Thanks to my Panicky Mommy, doctors and nurses for their treatment. I remember Mommy was really upset with some of the nurses and gave a piece of her mind. That's Mommy..the perfectionist!

And I wonder who took this photo while I was suffering...

Fun at Waterfalls

Ashviqha's Posting:

A long break for Hari Raya, 6 days to be exact. I've got a long list of 'Things To do'. As usual Baskin Robins, Sunway Pyramid and playground are always given the top priorities. But this time 'waterfalls' was also in the list. I guess this is my 2nd trip to waterfalls. The first trip was back in 2005. I was still called a 'baby' then and as usual Mommy didn't let me in the water! But today I had fun because I'm no more a baby! All of us, (Nallasiwam Periappa, Siva Periappa, Suresh Mama, Vijay Mama)'s family and of course the Su Rames's family joined the fun at the Sg. Tekala Waterfalls. It offers a scenic and peaceful location for picnic and family relaxation.

There were too many monkeys and the Oldies time were spent guarding our belongings as opposed to having a good time with others. It was a great experience for me even though I had a tough time getting use to the chill water :))

Fun..fun that's all I can say!

Kovin Anna busy with his cooking adventure..We have spectators for that too!

Oldies..relaxing and guarding our belongings

PaPa and the gang with their simple game, wonder how these guys able to run around with their big belly!
