Independance Day

Levinkha's Posting:

Mommy told Akka and Me that tomorrow is Independance Day. Independance Day? What a bombastic word for a beginner like me. Akka told me that it's Merdeka Day, Malaysia's birthday...51st birthday. Well I can digest that now!

Akka said she'll be celebrating Independance day for the next 2 weeks. She said she can watch all her favourite cartoons; Tom & Jerry, Mickey Mouse, Pocoyo, Jojo Circus, Mr. Bean and others which I don't really watch. Mmm...she said she'll be in control for 2 weeks. How is that?

We are eagerly waiting to see some fireworks in-conjuction with Merdeka Day. Let's see if I can stay awake till then. I would rather spend my precious time with Mommy and PaPa as they are leaving to Sydney tomorrow for 2 weeks. Hey wait a minute..2 weeks? 2 weeks of celebration? He..he..naughty Akka!

Krishna Oh Krishna

Levinkha's Posting:

When I was sitting with Mommy playing computer games I saw some photos on the desktop. I'll share the photos here because the person in the photo looks like Lord Krishna...

Little Krishna with flute

Ashviqha Akka after the Krishna Jeyanthi function. She went to temple with Susie Periamma. PaPa was working on that day and Mommy was lazy to dress up, so none of us accompanied her. Only now, we realize that we've missed all the fun.

Krishna is so bored with the same old style..

So let's try the policeman style...

Baa? Gog?

Levinkha's Posting:

Any idea what I am trying to say? Yes..I started to improve my vocabulary. Yeah…I can communicate with people around me. I can say ‘baa’ (for ball), am still having difficulty to twist my tongue to get that 'LL' sound clearly and Gog (for dog). Mommy says that the way I pronounce ‘Baby’ is really cute. I can say Akka and Pa (for PaPa).

I know some of my friends start of by saying ‘mum-mum’ (for food). Pity them if they don’t say ‘mum-mum’ they don’t get food. Well I never had that problem…because I never get hungry…Well, I'll update on my communication skills as I explore this world.

Ice Skating

Ashviqha's Posting:

Last Tuesday, was my first day in the Ice Skating Rink. The idea of ice skating came rolling to me when I was in Sunway Pyramid few weeks back. I was so contended with the way people skate and I wanted to give a try. And that's when we enrolled for the special class for school holidays.

In fact this is the most enjoyable activity during my school holidays this week. I was so excited thinking about skating and even use to dream about it. And finally I started the class with a very beautiful coach Ms. Surayu. Got my gloves & shoes, took me about 15 minutes to get ready..

Getting ready...

Finally, I was in and trying to be very cool. Gosh!! I fell few times and wasn’t bothered about the people around me. Mommy said ‘practise makes perfect’. For those who think that skating is easy, mmm..not really. I was determined to pickup ice skating, as I’m really into the mood now. Later, PaPa and I can go for skating whenever we are free. Definitely Mommy is out of the question, because she’s less adventurous..LOL:)

Hey look I'm leading!

'Ooops..Ms. Surayu where are you? Please give me a hand!'

While I was skating, I saw PaPa was busy with his camera trying to snap some photos. He knows that this blogger would definitely want to share her experience with her avid fans.

Here I go finally... able to skate without much gravitational pull!

That's my two good friends on the left, Shara and Sharli..very helpful friends.

Train Ride

Levinkha's Posting:

Yesterday for the first time PaPa and Mommy brought Akka and me for a train ride. It was really cool. We started our journey from Subang Jaya station to KL Sentral. Well this is the second time Akka going on a train.

I thought train suppose to be fast, mmm… guess it’s not a bullet train! PaPa and Mommy tried their level best to give their explanation on why it was slow..but nothing works.
It took us about 30 minutes to the destination. We spent an hour loitering and eating, then got on the train back to Subang. I was exhausted and slept off. The next thing I know; it was Monday (today) morning …another brand new day.

I had time to play Hide & Seek with PaPa while waiting for the train.

It's Mommy's Birthday

Ashviqha's Posting:

Yesterday was Mommy's birthday. What a coincidence in my family, PaPa and I share the same birthday month; Sep and Mommy and Levinkha; August. To be exact, PaPa's birthday is on the 15th and mine on the 16th...difference of one day. Meanwhile Levinkha's birthday falls on 6th and Mommy's on the 13th...difference of 1 week. Amazing...I mean my Mathematics!!

Mommy is turning xx today. Mmm...I should keep it secret because she doesn't like telling others about her age (getting old maybe). Well, when I was born she was still young, only 27...and now I'm already a big girl..then definetely she's quite old, isn't it? :)

Today all of us suppose to go for dinner in TGIF but we ended up in a Chinese Restaurant. As usual we had to fulfill the 'birthday girl's' wish!! Hey I thought she was on diet?

There she goes around the table looking for food...LOL:)

Mommy always busy with her camera, trying for the best shot..but pity her (you know what I mean)

We want to see your photo after 30 years Mommy..Please cooperate!

That's Mommy the 'birthday girl'

Birthday Party

Levinkha's Posting:

And finally we celebrated my birthday in Thata’s(grandpa's) house. About 100 people turned up for the party. Well most of them are PaPa's relations and I'm still getting to know them.

It was awesome. PaPa and Mommy bought a 'Number 1' cake with a Mickey Mouse picture on it. They promised to get a Dora Cake for my second birthday as I love watching 'Dora The Explorer'. Mommy was complaining that Ipoh has got very few confectionaries and find it so difficult to get all those fancy cakes.

I got new clothes (the purple gown was soooo beautiful!), new friends and lots of presents. Thanks to all aunties & uncles for their fabulous presents. And thanks to Akka for introducing me to some of her friends.

Oh yeah...they made me wear that

Somehow they managed to get Dora on the cake..and she was having difficult time balancing herself on the cake.

Yummy cake

Getting Jiggy with my friends.. Titinbay Akka, Ashviqha Akka, and Seerthi Anne

Old folks were there too

That's akka with a long time friend Devanesh

PaPa tried his best to get a good shot... well this may be the best I could offer on that day

Vasuge Periamma and Me pretending to be annoyed with all the attention I was getting.

Wow... look at the presents.. If only birthday comes once in a month :)

Mind Boggling

Levinkha's Posting:

Today morning when I woke up, I saw everyone busy doing lots of things…balloons everywhere. Wow really colourful and I go wondering what’s going on until I saw a banner which looks awesome!! HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY LEVINKHA...They are planning for a party for me today yeahhh. Mmmm...Looks like I’ll be the centre of attraction today. Mommy asked me to rest as much as I can now so that I’m not grumpy later in the evening. Ok Mom.."just thought you need some helping hands…"(at least to burst the balloons…LOL :) By the way thanks to Mommy because it was her hard work to produce such a !%^&*&* banner (no words to describe...)

1st time in my life seeing colourful balloons

Simple yet classy...

Family Day

Ashviqha's Posting:

It was Smart Reader Kids SS14 Subang Jaya Family Day last Saturday . We celebrated the joyous event in Futsal Court SS18. I was so nervous waiting for the day as I was asked to deliver a speech in Mandarin. I had butterflies in my stomach. Mommy and PaPa made sure that I practised my speech everyday. My buddy Amelie delivered a speech in Tamil, Harnit in B Malaysia and Danynl in English. I did very well and infact Aunty Hannah Yeoh also praised me during her opening speech. Mommy told me she's our ADUN for Subang Jaya. Well I'm still wondering what ADUN stands for. Whatever it is I know she's someone. I guess PaPa had captured some photos and video…I’ll try to load.

It's me in the middle with buddies Amelie and Danyl.

It's time for speech in Mandarin...

Me and Amelie posing with our trophy after the games...Silver tropy!!

It's time for daddies now...Tug-Of-War..real war

And Levinkha was tired cheering for her favourite team.

Exhausted

Levinkha’s Posting:

I’m exhausted today after long tiring journey from KL to Ipoh. Finally we are here. It’s been long time since I came to Thata’s house. When I came last, my eyesight was still developing and I couldn’t see much, infact everything was blur. Well I get to see Thata’s house now. Wow…so spacious, I get to train my legs to run now!

My Birthday

Levinkha's Posting:
Today is my first birthday. Wow! It's been a year I'm around with three lovely people PaPa, Mommy and Akka. Thanks Mommy for going through all the hard times to bring me to this place so called World...Very impressive though compared to that confined space where I lived for 9 months.

Mommy presented me such a wonderful birthday gift. Setting up this blog for me. Mommy says that the more I write the more I learn. This blog also dedicated to my lovely sister Ashviqha. That's the reason Mommy had named this blog as Ash-Levin. I'll write more about her in my next posting.
This is one of Mommy's collection on the scan she did when I was 20weeks old.

I am a girl...label stuck on my baby cot.

I'm 1 day old...

Me and Akka getting ready to go for 30 days prayers. (Btw thanks to PaPa who just popped by to help to load the photos..new comer in the blogging world)

I wonder how they manage to get this photos(or 'these photos',mmm.. still got time to learn), I thought I gave them a tough time!!!

And...I'm 1 today...guess how I look like...the answer is in my next posting.
